Shrinky Link for Wordpress!

This is a very simple plugin that filters comments and/or posts (both are optional) for links, and will shrink the link in the following optional ways:

• To a defined word or phrase
• To a number of characters
• Trim url scheme (http://, ftp://, etc)
• Trim www
• Display the domain after the link (like slashdot)

This is run whenever a comment is DISPLAYED, no changes are made to the actual post, so no data is lost.

This plugin is known to work in Wordpress 2.0 and 2.1, but most likely works in 1.5 as well.

Installation

Unpackage contents to wp-content/plugins/ so that shrinkylink.php and shrinky-ui.php are in a shrinkylink folder under plugins. Enable the plugin from the Dashboard, and setup any options under Options->Shrinky Link. And that's it!
